Backgate Cottage is a luxury, self catering, holiday cottage which is available to rent all year round. The cottage is centrally situated in the historic East Neuk fishing village of Pittenweem, Fife, Scotland.

Pittenweem is located just 1.5 hours drive from Edinburgh (47 miles) and Glasgow (80 miles) and is ideally situated for family, golfing, activity or relaxing breaks. There are 20 golf courses (12 championship standard) and 5 International Blue Flag rated beaches within no more than 15 minutes drive of Pittenweem.

Backgate Cottage is less than five minutes walk from the picturesque harbour and high street which has a number of art galleries and coffee shops which feature artworks from artists who contribute to the highly popular annual Pittenweem Arts Festival.
